Knowledge, Skill & Abilities:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in meat cutting with a strong knowledge of all cuts.
  • Knowledge of seafood. Additional culinary experience would be an asset.
  • Must have strong knife skills and understands proper handling of equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with other in ways that show enthusiasm and a love of food.
  • Self motivated, positive,  solution oriented, working with a sense of urgency in a customer centered business.
  • Ability to sell products proactively.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Strong work ethic and integrity.
  • Available for flexible rotating schedule, including evenings, and public holidays, to meet the needs of the department.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
