Management of the receiving process; reconciliation of delivered vs invoiced and the maintenance of an accurate inventory count of all products – ambient, perishable and frozen.
Development and maintaining of procedures and controls regarding waste & inter-department transfer of goods & working closely with the warehousing team as well as with Purchasing & Logistics; Department Managers; Loss Prevention and IT.
Additional responsibilities will include regular inventory audits; overseeing of quality control measures and management of short dated product to minimize waste.
Manage all other special projects assigned by manager.
Bachelors’ degree or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience in inventory control.
Demonstration of ability to develop and implement new procedures.
Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend fluent English.
Ability to work closely with a number of different departments & monitor compliance of same.
Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Experience with ambient, perishable and frozen products, a plus.
